PRAYER

Prayer is a great spiritual force. Prayer should be done with faith, with a heart set with sincere devotion. Do not argue about the efficacy of prayer. Prayer has tremendous influence. Open freely the chambers of your heart when you pray. Be regular in your prayer. Ask for light, purity, devotion and knowledge.

HAPPINESS

Do not fear anyone. Do not frown at anybody. Restrain all your senses. Be cheerful always. Do not look back. Divest yourself of desire and wrath. Cast off pride. Turn your gaze inwards. Contemplate, you will enjoy true happiness.

DESTINY

Build your destiny by good thoughts and deeds. Exert. Be self disciplined. Love all. Fear none. Be a seeker after truth. Understand the laws of dharma. Every step you take through every act you do, you must move towards freedom, towards light, towards truth.

DIVINE LIFE

Serve, love, give, purify, meditate, realize. Be good. Do good. Be kind, be compassionate. Practice non-injury, truth and purity. This is the foundation of yoga and Vedanta. Adapt, adjust, accommodate. Bear insult; bear injury. Serve all. Love all. Embrace all in the oneness of the spirit. This is divine life.

BE FREE

Kill unholy desires through holy desires. Do not become lazy. Be ever up and doing. Break the evil of ignorance. Know thyself and be free.

ART OF LIVING

Study diligently. Apply tenaciously. Behave politely. Obey implicitly. Pray whole-heartedly. Sing melodiously. Speak sweetly. Eat slowly. Walk gently. Sick resolutely. Think usefully. Act righteously. Endure courageously. Persevere patiently. March boldly. Concentrate attentively. Meditate seriously. Realize quickly. God be with you. Peace be with you.

GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE

Of all the gifts, the gift of knowledge is the greatest. The gift of knowledge is a greater giving than food, cloth, shelter, medicine, or wealth, because it gives eternal peace.

RIGHT PERSPECTIVE

This world is a mixture of Good and Evil. See Good in everything and then transmute Evil into Good. Evil is a kind of knowledge, which shows the superiority of goodness by comparison. Evil exists to glorify good.

This world is not an illusion. It is not so real as Brahman or Absolute. There cannot be absolute good here. Realize this and be Happy.

SECRET OF SUCCESS

Be absorbed in your work. Give your full heart, mind and soul. Do not care for the results. Do not think of success or failure. Do not think of the past. Have complete confidence. Practice self-reliance. Be cheerful always. Keep a cool balance mind. Work for work's sake. Be bold and courageous. You are bound to succeed in any undertaking. This is the secret of success.

VIRTUE VERSUS SIN

Knowledge is virtue; Ignorance is sin. Strength is virtue; Weakness is sin. Courage is virtue; Cowardice is sin. Discrimination between right and wrong is virtue; confused self-justification is sin. Commonsense is virtue; Foolish daydreaming is sin. Impartiality is virtue; Hoarding is sin. Expansiveness is virtue; Narrowness is sin. Tolerance is virtue; Bigotry is sin.

BE MODERATE

Eat a little, drink a little, talk a little, sleep a little, mix a little, move a little, serve a little, rest a little, do asana little, pranayama little, reflect a little, vichar a little, do japa a little, do kirtan a little, write mantra a little, meditate a little.

WHAT IS LIFE

Life is a song, sing it. Life is a journey, complete it. Life is a mystery, unfold it. Life is an opportunity, utilize it. Life is dream, realize it.

Time is life. Time is more precious than the most valuable thing in this world. Time ill spent is life wasted away. Make the best use of time.

HIGHEST SADHANA

Be bold; be wise; be virtuous; be honest; be sincere; be truthful; be patient; be tolerant; be obedient; be simple; be humble; be noble; be gentle. Adapt, adjust, accommodate. Bear insult, bear injury, Highest Sadhana.

WISDOM

Learn to become wise. Discriminate. Control the thoughts and desires. Watch your thoughts carefully. Do not allow any evil thought to enter the gate of the mental factory. Develop passion for self-realisation. You will attain the goal of life.

BEST MEDICINE

When allopathy, homeopathy, chromopathy, naturopathy, ayurvedopathy, and other pathies fail to cure a disease, the divine namapathy alone can save you. Name of the Lord is a sovereign specific, a sheet anchor, an infallible panacea and a cure for all diseases.

MORALITY

Morality is the gateway to religion. Morality is the gateway to bliss immortal. The aim of morality is to raise man to the level of divinity by transforming his own nature. Be Good; Do Good. This is the essence of morality.

GOODNESS

Goodness is love in action. It is noble to be good. Goodness is the greatest virtue. Every good deed is a grain of seed for immortality or eternal life. May goodness be your ideal and goal! May you all be good and attain Godhead.

PERFECT LIVING

He who observes the law of nature and leads the life of self-restraint, purity, dispassion and contemplation enjoys the perfection of life.

SPIRITUAL TONIC

Prayer is a spiritual tonic. Prayer is a spiritual vitamin. It purges the mind of its impurities viz. attachments, desires, anger, lust and fear. Strengthens the aspirations and brings the devotee in the presence of God.

VIRTUE

Virtue is the root of happiness; therefore be virtuous. Virtue will open the gates of immortality to receive you. Virtue has divinity behind it; wherever is divinity, there is virtue. Virtue does not come from money; but every good of man comes from virtue.

UNIVERSOL RELIGION

God is Love. The Only true religion is the religion of Love, of the religion of heart. Feel for others as you feel for yourself. This universal religion will bring World-Peace and Happiness.

CHARACTER

Actions produce impressions. The impressions coalesce together through repetition and form tendencies. Tendencies develop into habits and habits into character. Character generates will. If the character is pure and strong, the will also will be pure and strong, and vice versa.

AHINSA

Be tolerant even with the intolerant; be gentle with the violent; be detached from all things even when living among those who are attached to them.

EYE OPENER

Give up all sorts of fears, anger, care, worries and anxieties. Do not be disheartened by failures. Pain is the best thing in the world. It is an eye-opener. Never forget this.

GRACE AND GUIDANCE

Pray to the almighty Lord for help and guidance. Thirst for His Grace. Place your trust in Him. Do not be moved by difficulties. Difficulties strengthen your will and augment your power of endurance and turn your mind towards God. He will guide you in all your activities.

FEEL

Feel all along that the body is a moving temple of God, your office or business house is a big temple or brindavan, and all activities such as walking, eating, breathing, seeing, hearing, reading, etc., are offerings unto the Lord. Work is worship. Work is meditation, when done in the right spirit.

LIFE

Life is precious. Time is precious. Utilize every second usefully. Speak sweetly. Speak truthfully. Pray devotedly. Pray regularly. Shun evil company for it is dangerous. Do not leave work half done. Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly. Injure not others. Help others. Serve. Correct your own defects. Do not abuse anybody. Pray and study. Success will come to you.

IMMORTAL ATMA

There is something dearer than wealth, there is something dearer than wife, there is something dearer than the son, there is something dearer than your life itself. That dearer something is thy own self, inner ruler. Immortal.

THREE THINGS

There are three things for you to Love: desire for liberation, company of the wise, and self serve;

Three things to despise: miserliness, cruelty and petty mindedness.

Three things to admire: generosity, courage and nobility;

Three things to hate: lust, anger and pride.

THREE THINGS

Three things for reverence: Guru, renunciation and discrimination;

Three things to control: tongue, temper and tossing of mind;

Three things to renounce: evil company, evil desire and evil action;

Three things to cultivate: cosmic love, forgiveness and patience;

Three things to avoid: backbiting, falsehood and harsh words.

Sadhak Bold! March boldly. You will attain the goal of life in this very birth itself.

TIME

Time is valuable. It is more precious than money. Money can be earned again if lost, but if time is lost it cannot be regained. A moment once gone cannot be called back. Life is but a collection of small moments. You will be a great person if you utilize your time in a useful manner.
