The Syndicate was started in October of 2003. It's leader Kn3ty < Prince > had received a few clan invites by then, but was hesitant to allie himself with any one group. But when the Slipknot server either went down,
or it's admins just decided to restart the ranking system, Kn3ty's record was erased. This was a severe bummer to kn3ty as his rank was in the 30's in a server consisting of over 10,000 people. So with no reason to keep his old name, kn3ty decided to start a new clan.

The Syndicate, sYn for short, was it's name. Modeled after the elite criminals and players of movies such as The Godfather and Scarface, Syndicate would be a clan for only true online killers.
