The Story:
THE SOLAR SYSTEM 2050 :
The Colonies of ManKind
stretch
into the depths of the Solar System . However , from the
icy wastes of outer space
is unleashed a once in a lifetime terror -
the Golgotha Squad.
The Golgotha are an
ancient race of violent aliens
set to unleash a
reign of horror on hapless humans
. There is only one chance to stop them .
The Golgotha have a modus
operandi - they send a squad of their
20 best fighters to capture a base .
If the Squad fails , the aliens never return - at least not for
a Millennium .
YOU are chosen to defend Earth and its colonies
from the Gargantuan aliens.
Good luck . The fate
of the Earth rests in your hands!

The Rules:

You have 10 lives ( alias shields ) . Run out of 10 lives , and it's Good
bye to Humanity ( unless you press New Game ) and start again .

You have to destroy 20 aliens , as mentioned above.

Move your mouse to move the ship.
-
Press your default mouse button to shoot.
-
Choose the Alien's shooting speed from the Shooting ChoiceBox.
-
Choose the Alien's moving speed from the Speed ChoiceBox.
-
Choose whether the Alien hunts you down ( not recommended for amateurs!!!)
from the Alien Hunts You CheckBox.

Choose whether the Alien avoids your missiles ( not recommended for amateurs
either !!!) from the Smart Alien CheckBox.
Suman's Dark Invaders is a free
Java game developed by a smart , modest (!!!) and witty and sometimes
half-moron 18 year old guy from Chennai , India ( that's yours truly)
that will send you into raptures .

Note : This game now works properly on my
Netscape Communicator 4.05 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 on Windows
95.
It also works on
Netscape Navigator 4.08 on Linux ( tested only too recently
by me ).
You could use AppletViewer(part of the Java Development Kit)
to play the Applet if you have it of course.
It may
work properly on other Java enabled browsers , but don't sue me it doesn't
!!
