In the center of the lake
there is a
small island, Bola Island, and there is a mummy corpse
of Maradindo King who is laid in a coffin with the diameter of
1,5 m carved forming a buffalo. Inthe forest around this lake,
we can see many kinds of birds.
To reach this
area :
- From Palu to
Napu/ Wuasa about 105 Km, reached by car in 3 hours then
trekking or on horseback to Besoa and Bada Valley.
- From palu to
Gimpu about 95 Km by Bus/Jeep is about 3 Hours then on foot
on horseback to Bada Valley.
In our trip, we
have to stay in Villaagers houses we pass through or camp in
the forest. An interesting attraction.
- From Tentena
by car/jeep to Gimpu 64 Km, or by Missionary Aviation
Fellowship for 15 minutes and the rouste
