Sugbo Slashers is a knifemaking shop in Cebu, Philippines. Shop operation started in 2004.
Our knives are known for their rugged construction, durability, and long service life. Given the chance, they will put the other cock down and out for the count.
We pour considerable time and effort in making and testing our knife designs. We only offer knives that we use ourselves.
While there is no lack of knives and knifemakers in our country, we believe that genuine professional quality knives can be had for a fair price.
Thus by doing this, it becomes possible that even the small time cocker or gaffer be equipped with excellent quality knives.

DIAMOND
The safest design for narrow blades. Its diamond cross-section implies that its thickest in the middle and is less susceptible to breakage.
It creates the deepest and cleanest stab wounds. This design is most devastating when in double-edge form.

MALAYSIAN
A unique blade design that creates massive muscle/tissue damage. A bit heavier than other blade designs but the extra weight adds heft and momentum to the cut.
It is best used with power stroking bloodlines (ie Hatch,Asil) or aged cocks.

A scythe like blade design unmatched in its versatilty. It can be used by all cocks and is the mainstay of most Filipino gaffers.

PAKPAK LANGAW
Our pakpak langaw is an improvement of the conventional pakpak langaw. The tapering profile starts from the base and extends to the tip. The slender body plus the sleek barbed head will give tremendous damage.

The oldest and strongest blade design in Filipino cockfighting history. It can punch thru bones without fear of breaking apart. A wider spine adds strength against linear and lateral stresses.
