Welcome to Sue's Anxiety Support
I want to welcome you and I hope you find my pages helpful. Please relax and take some time to read all the things I'm offering to you.

You are not alone in your battle with anxiety and the issues relating to anxiety. I, too, have had anxiety issues. For many years I've suffered with Agoraphobia. After realizing that most of the techniques that were offered for my problems were not working for me I decided to study anxiety, on my own, and find what really works for me.

I now am well on my way to recovery. What I did was incorporate cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) with mind, body, spirit work. I not only realized that my negative self talk was keeping me from getting better, but that dealing with issues such as self-esteem, self-confidence and replacing the negative thoughts with positive thoughts was what was really going to heal me.
Affirmations and meditation has helped me so much. Learning how to breath properly is very important as well. Please know that anxiety is very treatable. You decide what techniques are best for you. It takes time to recover and taking it one step at a time and one day at a time is important. Every successful step you take is a little victory. Little victories become big victories.

Once you've realized what techniques work for you stay on your path and keep going. Your problems didn't happen overnight and they won't disappear overnight. It takes time. I hope you take the time to go to my Relaxation Meditation page. This meditation is so helpful if you want to really relax.
