| Heart Children Manawatu are dedicated to giving support to families who have children with heart disease. WE are not one in the same as The Heart Foundation. The Heart Foundation funding is mainly put towards research, where Heart Children Branches focus primarily on support. Whilst we are all extremely grateful to the Heart Foundation for all the work they do, our organisations are not to be confused. |

| We are a group of families based in Manawatu who come together for funding raising, picnics, birthdays and to support the families who have to make regular visits to hospital for surgery. | Friends and Family is what Heart Children Manawatu is all about. We are from all walks of life with many different backgrounds, but the one thing that we all have in common is our beautiful brave heart kids. We are always on the beat to raise funds and your support is very much appreciated in every way. We are fortunate to have help and support fom the Bank Of New Zealand, which we will be forever grateful, but community awareness goes a very long way too.
