Review 7/21/04

I woke up at 6:50 that day. Yikes. Sleep? What's that during the Alness?

Cid, Fred, Carole, and I went ice skating. That means that Fred and Cid ice skated while Carole and I attempted and ended up near the walls and taking lots of breaks.

We got to the line about 4:30; we had some of our nice peeps holding our places in line. We had to make a lot of Poodle Hats! They didn't let us in this time until 7:30 because of more technical difficulties; well Al's mic did blank out at times during the show. We got some seats right behind the mysterious barrier. A ton of smoke during the show.

The show was fantastic, like always. This one seemed to have had a lot more energy than the day before. Al and the band were having a blast. There were new cheerleaders that day. Very leggy, but good! They were enthusiastic!

This show was only missing Melanie and Horoscope.

During WBUL, instead of anaconda, it was enchilada. We had special request time and Jim was picked. Jim wanted to do Sweet Home Alabama. Al looked at him confused and went, "How about one our songs?" and Jim just starts ripping into it.

He mixed up some words in Lasagna and the stage hand got ready for Free Delivery a bit too early. Al accidentally tripped over a speaker during AP and knocked over Steve's mic stand during SLN.

Al commanded us during Yoda. "That's not good enough!" a pause to where the audience is continuing. "DO IT BETTER!"

We got back to the house about 11:30 and went to bed at 12:30.
