[When we last left Chris Jericho on this week's episode of Friday Night Live,he was speaking in the backstage area with Sharmell Sullivan about his upcoming match with the EWE Undisputed Champion Jimmy Smiley. We then see the scene of the inside of the sold out arena where Friday Night Live has already begun. After a few matches,the show went to a commercial break and is now back. The F.N.L. theme song,"Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed,has started blaring over the loudspeakers just as it did at the beginning of the show. We then go over to the announcer's position where Bob and Nikko are still sitting calling the action.] >>Bob<< Well,folks welcome back to the show tonight. I must say Terri,that we have seen some hard hitting action so far,but the match that I'm still looking for would have to be the Main Event,which is obviously,Chris Jericho going one on one with the reigning EWE Undisputed Champion Jimmy Smiley. We've heard both men talk some smack so far on the show,but the real test is when those two step into the squared circle. <>Nikko<> Bob,there is some real animosity starting to boil up between the Undisputed Champion of about a month ago Chris Jericho,and the reigning Undisputed Champion Jimmy Smiley. Smiley has impressed so far with his championship run,and he's had many comebacks to the things Jericho had to say. But we've all seen that Chris Jericho always gets the last word in and is almost always the last man standing. Smiley just needs to watch himself when he gets in the ring with Y2J. >>Bob<< Well,those were the words of an obviously pro-Jericho Nikko,and I have to agree with you Nikko. We saw that Jericho would do anything necessary to derail Jimmy Smiley when he attacked him on Monday Night Raw,but can he go all the way and take back the belt. And more so than that,can he hold his own against Bang if he has the belt at Summerslam. [As Bob and Nikko just finish what they were saying,the lights hanging high in the arena's rafters turn blue and white as the countdown to Y2J suddenly appears on the Titan Tron. The count begins to wind down from five as the fans start to boo Jericho before he comes out.] >>Bob<< Well,speaking of the former Undisputed Champion,it looks like we're gonna get to see him up close and personal Nikko. 5 4 3 2 1 0 [The fans sitting in the crowd watch the count winds down from five to zero on the Titan Tron. The lights then change from their bluish color and turn pitch black as the fans continue to boo Y2J.] <>Nikko<> I hate this part Bob. [The pyrotechnics then explode from the top of the Titan Tron and the steel entrance stage as Jericho's theme song,"Break the Wall Down" begins to blare over the P.A. System in the arena and the camera shows the Titan Tron screen. The entrance curtain the pulls back as Chris Jericho steps out onto the stage with his back to the fans and his arms in the air.] <>Nikko<> Well,just like we said earlier Bob,there he is. The number one contender to the Undisputed EWE Title,Chris Jericho. I don't have him on my schedule though. >>Bob<< Nikko,he isn't on my schedule either,but what can we do. Jericho could probably break us both in half. <>Nikko<> Especially you Bob. [After Nikko and Bob stop talking,the camera shot then shows Chris Jericho spin around on the stage and face the entrance ramp and the fans as they continue to boo him. He then makes his way down the entrance ramp as Lillian Garcia enters the ring and begins to make the ring announcements.] ~{*}~Lillian Garcia~{*}~ Ladies and gentlemen,please welcome down to the ring,the number one contender to the EWE Undisputed Championship,Y2J,Chris Jericho!! [Jericho makes his way towards the end of the entrance ramp and climbs up the ring steps as the fans are reaching out their hands trying to touch Jericho. He then steps onto the ring apron and looks out into the crowd with his normal smirk on his face. He then climbs into the ring and heads towards the center as the fans continue to boo. He then chases Lillian Garcia from the ring and takes the microphone that she dropped. The lights return to their normal color and the music dies down as Jericho begins to talk.] <*>Chris Jericho<*> Ladies and gentlemen,boys and girls,ass clowns and Jerichoholics,welcome to the new era in Extreme Wrestling Entertainment. Welcome to the era of Chris Jericho. Oh yeah,and welcome to FRIDAY NIGHT JERICHO!! That's right kids. Just like I said earlier,tonight marks the beginning of a new era in sports entertainment. Tonight marks the third and obviously not the last,Undisputed Championship title reign of Chris Jericho. The title reign to end all title reigns,especially the reign of Jimmy Smiley. Smiley,I realise that you're the champion. You are supposadely the man at the top of the EWE ladder here. That thing that you haven't realised yet Smiley,is that you won that title while I wasn't here. When I left,the last Undisputed Champion that I saw was the now injured Jason Kash. Then by some strange turn of events you ended up with the belt junior. I have returned and I'm ready to take back what is rightfully mine. See,while I was out of action and Jason Kash was gone,there was absolutely no competition for you whatsoever son. Now,the competition has returned to the EWE. Now,you have no choice but to go head to head with the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Roll-a! <*>Chris Jericho<*> Now,Smiley,you are wanting to take the hard way out of this situation son. You see,all the other people that I beat the living crap out of,guys like Hogan,Austin,Shane Marx,even Jason Kash,realised that the easiest thing for them to do to keep the feeling from beneath their neck was to lay down in the ring,or they could just not show up to the building. You made a big mistake because I can tell that you're already at the building. Then,you want to go and trash talk me and talk about how you're going to whip my ass tonight in the middle of the ring. While I'm not in the room,by the way,you talk about how you're going to beat me and keep my Undisputed Championship. And that wasn't a mistake in what I was saying. I said that it's MY Undisputed Title. Smiley,if you look at my track record,you'll realise that I enjoy hurting people. It's my job. And whenever I get into the ring with any ass clown that's trying to either take my belt or trying to keep the belt from around my waist,they all meet the same fate. They all end up in traction. And after the final bell rings tonight,you will join all the rest that have fallen at the hands at the larger than life living legend. You will be in the hospital with everyone from Hulk Hogan to "The Franachise" Shane Douglas. And as for that championship belt goes,that little name plate on the belt will no longer have spray paint on it or anything that disrespects the belt. No,it will only be something that makes the strap all the better. The name plate that says "CHRIS JERICHO"! And I will persoanlly make sure that that name plate never...EEEEEEEVVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRR...gets changed again! [Chris Jericho's entrance music then blares over the speakers once again as Jericho leaves the ring and begins to head towards the backstage area to prepare for his championship match later in the night.] >>Bob<< Nikko,it's like we've ben saying all through the show. Later tonight Chris Jericho gets his big chance to regain the Undisputed EWE Heavyweight Championship when he takes on Jimmy Smiley in the main event. <>Nikko<> Bob,who can say exactly what is going to happen in tonight's match up. We've seen in the past that when it comes to the Undisputed Championship,Chris Jericho doesnt hold anything back at all. But we also know that Jimmy Smiley will not disappoing in the match either. All I can say is that I can't wait. >>Bob<< That's right Nikko. Later on tonight,it will be for the Undisputed Title and we will be right back.
