Mars
Here is a photo
of Mars.
Mars is very cold and very dusty and has a very thin atmosphere. Sometimes it gets so cold that the carbon dioxide condenses onto the surface. Why would astronauts want to go there anyway? Scientists believe it wasn't always this way. Thirty years of very complicated research in the form of flybys, orbiters, and landers have revealed
that Mars was once Earthlike. The fingerprint of a water planet lies in its landforms. Large channels and small gullies attest to a history of flowing water.
