Safety is a first priority on Star Chapter 354 rides. We use hand signal to communicate on or ride and follows the highway laws and speed limits, to keep everyone safe as possible. This allows everyone to enjoy the ride and not have new riders feel stressed. STAR chapter rides don't include "Tavern Runs", and the consumption of alcoholic beverages on chapter rides is prohibited. We want to see you back safely for the next ride.

Star Chapter 354 has two types of rides Sanctioned Chapter rides and Non- Sanctioned Chapter ride, what is the difference you ask. If you are a non-member of Star Touring & Riding you can participate in 3 Star 354 Sanctioned Chapter rides in a five month period, after your third Sanctioned Chapter ride or after the fifth month starting from the month of your first chapter ride you must become a member of Star Touring & Riding to attend any more STAR 354 Sanctioned Chapter rides in that calendar year.

Before you participate in a Sanctioned Chapter ride there are a couple of things you will need to have when you show up.

1.
Ride Waiver (Print one from the Website and complete it or you can get one before the ride starts, please be there early enough to complete the ride waiver before it is time to leave for the ride.)

2. Full Tank of gas

3. Your motorcycles must be in a safe working condition.

4. You must have a valid Motorcycle license/endorsement

5. You must have proof of insurance.

Our
Sanctioned Chapter rides are between 100 to 150 mile in the summer and 150 to 250 miles in Spring & Fall. We have two to three Sanctioned over night events/rides each year (Star Days, Star BQ, Charter Signings and sometimes the Feed the Children Food Drops.)

Non-Sanctioned Chapter rides our always open to anyone to attend when ever Star chapter 354 is having them, you do not have to be a member of STAR Touring & Riding or Star Chapter 354. This would be any of the Non-STAR events that we attend or that we have like the ride to our meet & greet breakfast that we have and some of or over night trips. You still need to have proof of insurance and your motorcycles must be in a safe working condition.
