Trish turning Face?

The WWF are still deciding upon the possibility of having Val Venis in the RTC faction. But if he does, the plan has been set for the RTC to target Trish Stratus in some shape or form, thus turning her face in the process.

Huge News

This past Thursday on SmackDown we saw Val officially "divorce" Trish as his valet/manager. There are rumors specualting that Val will join the Right to Censor because of this. Will Trish continue to manage T&A or will she find new meat? I guess we'll have to watch RAW to find out.

More on the Stratus/Venis Breakup

The WWF is already breaking the Val Venis/Trish pairing, in order to give Venis a more tougher character. WWF dumped the Val Venis porn star gimmick and wants to focus more on the Val Venis character. Not so much on the gimmick of Venis but moreso the character. Similar to what the WWF did with Rick Rude. Venis is going to get a much more agressive character and recapture the Rick Rude essence prior to his jump to WCW almost 7 years ago.

Trish speaks Candidly

Speaking candidly to Benson Lee of the Canadian Press, WWF star Trish Stratus reveals that she is happy to take her fair share of bumps, because "to just go out there and stand and be pretty is not enough for me. I need to be challenged." Stratus spoke about her character, complimenting WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and his writers for the way they get a feel for characteristics, and then turn up the volume on the ones which could be most beneficial. Stratus explained that the WWF schedule is very demanding, saying: "It's the continuous thing that's really tough. There's no off-season, and there's also the challenge of going out there every week to do better than last week." Stratus, 24, added: "I love it. It's very challenging, but it's a top-notch industry, and not everyone can be in it."

Post RAW News

I'm sorry for no updates but this upcoming week I should do my regular daily updates. Well anyway, Trish was pinned by Chyna at SummerSlam and now Chyna is the new IC champ. Val had a chance to regain the title last night but was distracted by Trish. Val seems unhappy with Trish and some angle might become of it.

Trish to be SummerSlam Radio

On August 26 (the night before SummerSlam 2000), Trish will be on SummerSlam Radio. The progam which is a hype for SummerSlam, will feature many superstars such as HHH and Stephanie. Since Trish used to be a co-host on The LAW, she's not a rookie when it comes to radio programs. The last time the WWF did a radio show is when they did Royal Rumble Radio. It featured HHH, Steph, Y2J, Cactus Jack, and Stone Cold. It was a good show and adding Trish will be a great addition to the show.

Good News on SummerSlam 3 Way Dance

This upcoming RAW, Lita will face Steph for the women's title. It's uknown whether Trish will be involved in the match. If Trish does get involved and make Lita lose the match, a 3 way dance between the women for the title is likely to happen at SummerSlam. There has been speculation that Steph will drop the title before or at SummerSlam so she can concentrate on her current angle.

3 Way Dance Cancelled?

The WWF may decide to cancel the planned Stephanie/Lita/Trish Women's title match at Summerslam. This weeks Raw marks the third show in a row where they have not moved the storyline forward at all which could be a hint that the match might be scrapped.

RAW IS WAR Preview

Test to leave T&A?

The WWF is considering having the team of T&A break up after Summerslam. This is due to the fact that the pairing of these Test and Albert has not really helped either man's career. In fact it has caused Test to lose a lot of heat since he turned heel. Look for Test to turn face again and then get a push in the European and IC title divisions.

Trish to get more physical in matches

Trish is currently working with Technical experts in the World Wrestling Federation, so she can develop some wrestling skills, rather than just taking a beating all of the time.

Trish/HHH Angle Over?

There's been alot of speculation that Trish will no longer be involved in the HHH/Steph breakup. According to Rajah this is false and Trish will continue to get involved in the HHH/Steph angle someway, somehow.

On picture news, yesterday in New York City, Trish Stratus and The Kat had their photo shoot and the pictures will posted in a few weeks at WWFDivas.com

More News on The Women's Title

WWF is still considering the Women's title match to take place at SummerSlam. Currently Stephanie McMahon has the gold, but it appears as if she will drop it sometime before SummerSlam to either Trish Stratus or Lita so that Lita can fued with Trish over it in a match at SummerSlam. You saw the old set-up with Stephanie getting in Trish's face calling her a "b*tch", thus setting up a triple-threat match as Trish kept her feud going with Lita as the Stephanie/Trish feud sprung, but after consideration WWF feels Stephanie McMahon would be a third leg, and just take up space in the match at SummerSlam as we know Lita can perform and lately Trish Stratus has really been learning moves and holds, and training to take some bumps. So look for Stephanie to drop the title this Monday or Thursday to either Lita or Trish Stratus and watch the Stratus/Lita feud re-arrive in full effect gearing up for SummerSlam.

Why no Trish/Lita feud on RAW?

The Lita/Trish/Stephanie feud did not advance tonight mainly because of concentration on other angles. Look for Lita to issue a challenge to Trish Stratus on Raw is War next week, or possibly on Smackdown. Trish and Lita have been rumored to go at it on August 27th, at Summerslam.

RAW Preview

Tonight on RAW is WAR we should see Eddie Guerrero & Too Cool team up to take on T&A & Val Venis.

On a picture note, TrishStratus.com has updated the Stratusfaction Gallery for the first time in a month and a half so it's worth checking out.

Trish's In Ring time to decrease?

Although the WWF is very happy with her, look for Trish's in ring role to decrease a bit. She is still expected to take part in Summerslam, but after that, she will not be as involved due to the fact that she has been complaining about her minor injuries. If you can remember, Trish suffered both a bruised back and a twisted knee. She may be able to take bumps, but she does have a lot to learn. Do not look for her to miss any television time, although these injuries are acting up just a bit.

Trish to be in a 3 Way Dance?

With the on going feud between Lita and Trish Stratus and now Stephanie McMahon and Trish, there is talk of having the 3 compete in a triple threat women's title match at SummerSlam. Lita is able to carry Trish through a match, and both have shown they can put on a match together. Although Stephanie is not trained as a wrestler, she can take bumps. In a 3 way, it limits her actual wrestling time which would fit perfect. Lita is no doubt going to take the women's title very soon, and SummerSlam in this 3 way would be the ideal time. Trish has been paying her dues ever since her debut (Rikishi's deep stink face was an obvious rib). WWF officials are very proud of the progress she has made. Initially they were afraid of another Sable situation, but she is far from being stuck up backstage. She is very well liked and said to have a very calm and nice demeanor.

Thoughts from under The Black Hat

I'm very proud of the progress that Lita and Trish are making and apparently so are many of our fans. If both of them continue to learn and stay positive, the sky is the limit for both of these young ladies.

On a commercial note, the SummerSlam commercial with Trish, The Kat, and Chyna is already being shown during all WWF programs!
