The L-301 is now at an advanced stage. Scale is 1:48th - a 15cm ruler (6") is shown for reference, but due to the strong angle of the models, one should not rely too much on it for real size. (the L-301 alone is over 45cm long!). The fuselage, wings & Tails and the Engine Fairling are mostly done. The cross sections will need some additional layers of resin, followed by a medium & fine sanding. The expansion pamp (below) will be de-done as a separate part. Better wing root to fuselage fit will have to be provided. All other details (cockpit, seat, wheel wells, landing gear, engine) still need to be added.
This is one big beautiful model of the Lockheed Hypersonic Aircraft which tested Mach 6 flaight in the late 1970's over the remote South Western Deserts.
