The vestry is the governing board of St. Peter's and meets monthly. There are nine members including 2 wardens. Each member serves a three-year term. Elections are held in the annual congregational meeting in January. The parish elects vestry members to provide policy and program direction for the church in accordance with the Canons of the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Virginia. The vestry elects the wardens.
