In the fall we'll resume our 2 service schedule.
Sunday worship services are held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 9 a.m. service is a quiet service celebrating Holy Eucharist. The 11 a.m. service alternates between Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer and is filled with the joyful sounds of music. Our Christian Education is held at 10 a.m. and is open to all ages. A nursery is provided for the Christian Education hour and the 11 a.m. worship service. We have a coffee hour every 2nd Sunday where we linger to chat and visit.

St. Peter's Parish was established in 1679. Construction on the present church building began in 1701 and was completed by 1703. A parish with a rich and interesting history, we have been a church home to countless people through the years, including some as well known as George and Martha Washington, who were married in this parish in 1759. Robert E. Lee and his family worshipped here and helped rebuild the church after the War Between the States. The parish has known peace and prosperity, war and poverty, happiness and tragedy. Far from being merely a shrine to our past, St. Peter's is now an active and thriving parish with many activities for all ages.
