September 12, 2001 - Today I read the paper on the stowaway project. I learned that a boy got in an argument with his parents and decided to run away from home. He decided to be a stowaway on a ship so he hopped on board.
September 13, 2001 - We got our ships' ID's and started tracking our ships.
September 19, 2001 - I am tracking my ship now and plotting points on my map. My first plot point was at 34.4N 166.9E.
September 20, 2001 - I am still tracking my ship and also checking weather patterns. It looked like clear sailing, to a port-of-call, for me.
September 26, 2001 - Tracking ship, I'm also doing a very important English lesson.
September 28, 2001 - I finished my English lesson today, and started the second.
October 2, 2001 - I am still tracking my ship but I lost it on the map. It's not sending data any more.
October 4, 2001 - I started to research my port-of-call today and I found a lot of cool stuff. My port-of-call is Japan.
October 10, 2001 - Today I found a lot more stuff on my port-of-call, and I found some pictures.
October 11, 2001 - I went to the website and calculated how fast my ship was going. I found my ship again.
October 17, 2001 - Today my ship was not on the map again. I learned that if the ship is within two-to-three hours of its port-of-call it stops transmitting data to the computer.
October 18, 2001 - I am catching up on some backwork that I forgot to do.
October 24, 2001 - Today I just went to the Japan web site and found some cool things.
October 31, 2001 - Today I started on my electronic postcard that we are sending to a friend.
November 7, 2001 - I finshed my postcard today and sent it.
November 8, 2001 - I looked up what kind of food the Japanese eat and found a lot of different things.
November 14, 2001 - Today I looked up a web site on Blackbeard. Our teacher gave us the information and URL.
November 15, 2001 - I am working on lessons.
November 21, 2001 - I am still working on stuff and getting pictures on my port-of-call.
November 28, 2001 - We have a new lesson; we are going to make storyboards.
November 29, 2001 - Today I started on my storyboards. I only got 1 scene completed.
December 5, 2001 - I got scenes 2 and 3 done. I like drawing my storyboards.
December 6, 2001 - I only got scene 4 done.
December 12, 2001 - I got scene 5 and 6 done. Today was a good day.
December 14, 2001 - I got scene 7 done today.
December 19, 2001 - I got scenes 8, 9, and 10 done today.
December 20, 2001 - I got scene 11 done today; that was my last one.
January 9, 2002 - I started coloring today, I colored the first three scenes. The coloring is the easiest part.
January 10, 2002 - I almost got done with all my storyboards today.
January 16, 2002 - I am now done coloring all my storyboards.
January 17, 2002 - Today I started scanning my storyboards and I finished.
January 23, 2002 - Today I started to make my web site. I am my doing journal entry page.
January 24, 2002 - I am still doing my journal entries. I am almost done!
February 6, 2002 - I uploaded some of my storyboards to the internet with the help of my favorite teacher.
February 7, 2002 - I uploaded the rest of my storyboards. I also started my literature page, and only got a little bit done because of the time.
February 13, 2002 - I missed today due to a field trip to the Challenger Space Center.
February 14, 2002 - Today I got caught up on my journal entries. I didn't do them for awhile and I needed to catch up on them.
February 20, 2002 - I worked on my web site again today and I got a lot done. More than I expected. I also started my powerpoint presentation and started to put it on my web site.
February 21, 2002 - I finished uploading my powerpoint presentation and now I am editing my site.
February 28, 2002 - I got done editing my sites and now I am completely done with the web site. Now I have to prepare for my presentation of "Real Time" data.
March 6, 2002 - Presentation to community and staff.
