Rember to use caution when trying any new recipe. I have not used all of the recipes on this site so I cannot say how well they work.
Read the warnings on the Fly Control page before you use any of the fly spray recipes. Always test a small area on the horse to check for reactions to thwat is in the recipe. I do know that some horses will break out from some homemade fly sprays. TEST YOUR HORSE befor you apply anything new. It is a good idea to test even store bought fly sprays.
If your horse as any special needs or health problems like HYPP make sure that you talk to your vet before giving them anything. Sometimes horses will react to things that could make their health problems worst. |
