Gemini

Gemini, the Twins, third sign of the Zodiac
May 22nd - June 21st
Duality, versatility, the intellect

Advantages of the Group
Gemini is the sign of extreme mental dexterity, reason and logic, quickness and perception and speedy thought processes. Gemini subjects are ingenious, resourceful, versatile, intelligent, clever, generous, charming, vivacious, have good manners and are extremely adaptable. They excel above all other groups in their ability to grasp and understand facts and figures clearly and logically, prefer to rationalise without bias, and have a been sense of appreciation, especially with regard to literature and art. The subjects are bright and vivacious conversationalists and debaters, and you should beware of getting your facts distorted otherwise the Gemini is liable to ‘tear you to pieces’.

Disadvantages of the Group
The speed of their though processes leads to superficiality, leaving problems wither unfinished or with inconclusive answers. They tend to become unstable due to inability to make decisions or make up their minds. Capriciousness, insufficient tact, lack of concentration, dishonesty when their cleverness enables them to ‘live by their wits’ are all faults of the sign and they often start many projects but frequently leave most or all of them unfinished, due to an extreme lack of concentration. There is a tendency to deceit and untruthfulness, over-extravagance, disloyalty and boorishness, egoism and pure selfishness.

Physical Appearance of the Group
They are generally of a fairly light build, but taller than average, and very straight-backed. Quick, darting eyes are common, usually brown or hazel, they are thin-lipped with aquiline noses, broad shouldered and flat chested. Their hair is usually straight and dark brown or black. The general appearance would indicate intelligence and acquisitiveness.
Health Difficulties of the Group
Health difficulties in Gemini afflict the arms, hands, shoulders, muscles, lungs and bones. Also nerves, senses and vocal chords. Bronchial trouble, common colds and tuberculosis are also prominent illness among Geminians, as are pleurisy, neurasthenia, asthma and nervous disorders. The group does appear to be able to overcome illnesses quite quickly, however.

The Most Suitable Occupations
Gemini subjects are most content with professions entailing writing or verbal expression. Journalists, authors, linguists, translators, secretaries, clerks, teachers are all occupations suitable for them as are all professions that disseminate knowledge. They are often connected with accountancy, high-powered salesmanship, travel, and make good interpreters.

The Ideal for Success
It could be said that the Gemini mind is brilliant – but in accordance with the standard of education. They are highly inventive subjects, very versatile and adaptable. When well educated, the mind is analytical and highly critical, but if not well educated, the Gemini may be criminally orientated or at least, artful. The ability to think fast gives an air of great intellect, even though this may be purely superficial. Frequently this leads the Gemini subject to attempt to do too many things at once, and he may be constantly changing jobs to suit his mental dexterity. Only when this diffuse tendency is overcome, when stability and greater concentration are achieved and when restlessness and nervousness are suitably controlled, can the subject reap the rewards of the sign’s high intellectual power.
