Ban Vector Marketing from UBC | |||||||||||||
Vector Marketing (aka Cutco, Alcas) is a company that sells knives through personal presentations in customers' homes. It is notorious for its deceptive recruitment methods and unethical business practices. Despite numerous student complaints and continued violations of UBC regulations and BC law, Vector continues to recruit at UBC. It is already illegal for Vector to advertise on campus outside the SUB, but Vector still freely purchases advertising space inside the SUB. We are compiling a case against Vector to urge a resolution banning Vector from recruiting at the SUB. To help in this effort, please SIGN OUR PETITION The Case Against Vector Op-Ed Piece in November 2005 Ubyssey |
