Mission: To inform and guide the general public about the protection of copyright information over the Internet. Note the black hand with the red 'aura' around it on the top banner. Websites contain so much creative content. We want to help preserve and protect the originality. The hand symbolizes what's left of a website following plagiarism and at the same time, the sign for 'stop'.

Introduction: STOP Campaign was created by an individual who was tired and sick of all the copyright infringement taking place over the internet. Plagiarism on the internet is not restricted to websites but also extends to email, ezines, newsgroups and bulletin boards. STOP aims to spread awareness on this topic and to aid individuals in preventing plagiarism. As cyberspace is a place where physical boundaries are not defined, the information the campaign offers is meant to be taken in general terms, meaning that for the most part, applies to most people on the information highway. However, as each country in the world has its own copyright laws, its wise to consult a lawyer in the country of question for specifics. STOP is in no way related to or affiliated with any other campaigns/organizations that may bear the same name.
