In the gc - your sentence is -
"The object referred to by "a" is still reachable, because "b" has a reference to it. When you say "Object b=a; you are making a copy of the reference in "a" and assigning that new copy to b. So now you have obe object and two references to it.In line 3 y
u redirect "a" to be null (so it is no longer pointing to any object), but since "b" is still holding its own reference to that same original object, the object is still now available for gc. "
I think that the last pharse should be -

1) Array - Though I understood what you were trying to say, the code you have given won't work. Try it yourself.

They are implicitly final. I will try to explain it in detail, if it is not clear.
3) break -
"It will execute the remaining branches", so if it finds a break in a foll. branch, it will execute it. Ok the wordings might be confusing. I will try to change it.
4)Integers - I have mentioned this under "literal values for String and all primitive types : " 4th point - Integers can be expressed as octal or hexadecimal
5)Array element - I will correct this
6)Kathy's formula : I will copy that after asking kathy
7) byte : I already have an example on this under the link "Some Examples".
