UPDATE PAGE
26 JUNE
Recieved and installed my new 680 cc injectors. this should cure my lean condition i was encountering with the stock 444cc inj....Man those things are loud. I sent them to R/C eng. to get cleaned and flow checked and they seem to be working well.... tomorro its off to the alignment shop for an alignment.

I'm also waiting on my new draglites. they are 15x3.5 for the fronts and 15x10 for the rears with BFG DRs.

My roll cage has kinda been on hold but i think i may be moving forward on that too... found a shop that for a minimum fee will be willing to pick it up and bring it up with one of his big shipments. that will save me around 400 dollars in shiping here to alaska.

once i have my tires on and engine tuned im gonna try a couple runs at a 10sec 1/4 mile (I hope). If not up comes the booste and hope not to break anything.

Ok the tierods are done and getting welded at the shop. The axles are getting made at the driveshaftshop.com
The rear brakes brackets are getting made . Once thats done then brake lines and pads and ill be ready for teh road again. ;> once i get everything back ill take some pics and post them

OK the tires are on the rims and installed on the car and they fit perfect!!!! the rears ar 15X10 weld draglites with 5.5 inch backspacing.

Ok went to the dyno today and tuned the 680 injectors. the car was way out of wack and took over 4 hours to get dialed in!!!! But its there now and running great and best of all no more fumes headaches!!!! It initially burned off a 283Hp pull ...  this was the first pull we did and it was bucking a coughing all the way thru. after much fuel reduction and timing adjustments the final run came out at 353rwhp!!!!! we gained 50HP in the lower rpms and the car feels like it rockets off the line with the added lowend torque.

Went to the track for a 10 sec attempt but failed. the track sucked initially because it was drizzling a bit. Later it dried out and became better. I started making tire pressure adjustments along with bigger burnouts and the car started getting faster. On the next to last run of the day the car was going 11.2 at 123 mph with lots of wheel spin so i lowered the TP alittle more and did a huge burnout. The next run i broke a ujoint and was done for the  day. Oh well, this is actually the first thing I've broke on the car and was the first thing i expected to break so i wasn't too upset. The u-joints are allready fixed and the next attempt for a 10 will be on 10 August

23 august
Went to the track again for a yet another 10 second run and failed. installed a profec B booste controller and turned up the booste to 15 PSI and tuned it in on the dyno. We got 394 rwhp still running stock turbos. I changed to 225x50x15 BFG G force DRs running 30 PSI . This was the same as going up in gearing. before i was running thru the traps in the top of third , the change in tire size got me to the topend of 4th gear ;> My plan was to launch it real easy and try to make it up on the big end of the track. I didnt break any joints but i did crack a ujoint cap.  Best run was 11.2 @ 127 MPH . My 60 foot time was 2.0+.

Im currently working on my z31 brake 5 lug and strut conversion. everything has been going as expected. If everything goes well should have a mid 10 sec slip to brag about next year ;> i will post pics as soon as can get them. Oh yea the nine swap is out of there for now till i see how the cv axles from the z31 300z work out

19 December
Well the Z31 brake and cv swap is almost done. the fronts just needs brake lines, brake pads, and tierods (longer) and the rears need brake lines and the right length cv axle installed and it will be ready for the road again. With the axles i plan on trying to swap the internal parts of the cv around, this is supposed to make them shorter. all i need is about an inch and the axles will fit. If this dosnt work i will cut and weld them to the right size and then send them down to the lower 48 and get a custom set made thru moser. As for wheels the 15 inch draglites will no longer work so i will be selling those in favor of some 16 inch types that are five lug. Right now its sitting on the stock z31 turbo wheels. It looks ok but not quite right ;<
As for the roll cage ... it is still sitting in a box under the car. Hope to have this job done in thenext 3-4 months. The track opens the second week in May and i hope to make it to the season opener for a 10 sec attempt ;>

Stay tuned

30 November 03,
Well It's been a while since my last update but pretty much everything i was trying to do with the rearend ended in failure. 3 trips to the track ... 3 broke stub shafts. Now the car is getting a Ford 8.8 with moser spool, 33 spline axles billet yoke, billet caps, aluminum diff cover, and willwood brakes. should be done by summer. next update comes after the firrst trip to the track with the 8.8
