			We, the parishioners of the Church of Saint Mary of Nichols, Iowa a faith filled parish, testament to the ideals of religious community and the historic sense of what it means to be Catholic, UNITE IN THE FOLLOWING MISSION:      To worship and actively participate as a      closely-knit family through liturgy,outreach,      youth and adult formation and other parish      and community activities.      To strive to meet the personal, physical,      spiritual and educational needs of all      within our christian family.      To maintain our autonomy as a parish     administratively and spiritually through     communication, cooperation and continued     collaboration We Pledge ourselves to this mission so that, growing through God's unconditional love, we can transform ourselves, our community and our world in the light of the gospel.
