The Sting concert which was staged at the foot of the Pryamids in Cairo on 25th
March went true to form. We departed Alexandria at 4:30pm but didnt arrive at the concert until 10:30pm. Why, bad traffiic I hear you ask?. Well, sort of.
A group of local lads had took disagreement against a bus that had tried to squeeze in front of them at the entrance of the showground so decided to smash it up!. The police then stopped all vehicles from entering the area for a 7km radius so everyone had to do a cross country hike.
When we finally got there Sting was halfway through his set and the only place
we could find to stand was right at the back next to the portaloos!. But not to worry, a few beers later and everyone was having a good time. Apparently the
egyptian support act never turned up either!!.
All in all it was a great night. Sting was
in good voice and seeing the Shinx &
pyramids illuminated by the night light was amazing - next band please!.

The 3 day fashion show at Cairo was a success also even though the end result was
one very tired Sadie. The first night I was out front taking photo's but the following evening
I was back stage, that certainly opened my eyes. The models looked fantastic on the catwalk but behind the scences....  The changing rooms looked like they had been hit by hurricane Gilbert!!.
The public enjoyed the show and the summer
range was well received so it looks like It could be the start of many things to come - this time Cario, next THE WORLD!!!
