UPDATE (October 2003)
Well, there's been a big expansion to the site lately. In the past couple of months I've had trips to Bratislava and Sofia. The Bratislava page (split into 2) is more or less finished, but I need to make a start on the Slovakia page. I've just about made a start on the Sofia page, and after that there's a Bulgaria page to be done. All that might take me a little while but keep checking for updates.
Coming next: Prague. I'm on yet another trip out there in December. It's a hard life...
I've been checking the site stats again on Geocities. The Prague and Slovenia pages have now gone over 3000 hits, the Havana, Koper and home pages have also gone well over 2000 hits, Camaguey, Cuba, Czech Republic, Krakow, Ljubljana and Poland are also over 1000 hits. The other Polish pages and Salzburg are also gaining ground.
I was a bit surprised about the home page (this one!) until I had a look at what keywords people were using; a couple of months ago I wrote on this page that people were accessing the Prague page by searching on red-light district in Prague, or brothels in Prague. So what's happened now is that everyone searching for "brothels in Prague" is being directed to this page instead. In fact over 90% of hits on this page are from people searching for various combinations of Prague and brothels, although for a bit of variation "Getting Laid in Krakow" also makes an appearance. Hope you're not too disappointed!
Other interesting searches that have found their way to this site include "getting laid in Prague", "get pissed in Prague" (that's more like it!), "hungary porn", "life sized stuffed horses"(Dave, you pervert!), "a picture of the oldest trombone in the 14th century", "Fosters beer in Slovenia"(drink Slovenian Lasko beer instead you dumb Aussie!), "cauliflower of the muppet show", "call girls Klaipeda", "Lithuanian babes", and my own personal favourite "what happened to Genghis Khan in 1165" (he was born, in case you're still curious). Hello to you all, you're all welcome here.
The band-width problems seem to have eased a bit since I split the Prague page into 3 sections and the Krakow page into 4. However, in case it goes down again I've set up a mirror site, which you'll find at:
