This course is essential for First Aiders in the workplace and complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regualtions 1981.
All employers in the UK have a legal duty to provide First Aid cover for their employees. Self-employed persons must also ensure they have adequate facilities to provide First Aid to themselves while at work.
HSE approved certificates will be issued to delegates who successfully complete the course. Certificates are vaild for three years. |

Control of Bleeding
Burns and Scalds
Sprains, Strains, Fractures and Dislocations
Minor and Major Seizures

Head Injuries
Eye Injuries
Poisons, Gases and Fumes
Angina and Heart Attack
Abdominal Pains
Treatment of the Unconscious Casualty

Assessment of the course is through a written assessment (multi-choice questions) and a practical assessment of skills, which covers dealing with an unconscious casualty, an injured casualty and resuscitation. |
