Basic First Aid - 4 Hours

This course is ideal for delegates who would like the basic knowledge and skills to deal with common incidents, or as an introduction to First Aid. It is relevant, in particular, to the needs of the general public, either at home or in the workplace. Certificates are vaild for three years.

The course covers the following subjects: Incident Management Control of Bleeding Burns and Scalds Shock Fainting Seizures Sprains, Strains, Fractures and Dislocations Angina and Heart Attack Treatment of the Unconscious Casualty Resuscitation Delegates may also ask to cover any specific conditions or injuries they think may be relevant to their environment

Assessment of the course is on a continuous basis, throughout the day, by the Trainer.
