Feb 2001 Mudman- 3.5 km run, 8km bike, 1.5 km run. Was slightly above freezing, and there was a small layer of ice on the water. Pedal hard to stay warm. --------------------------> |

Clean-up took awhile My best recommendation for a race like this: rent a bike. This one made horrible grinding noises when I returned it to the rental shop. Also, I don't recommend wearing your best shoes, I ended up throwing these away. -----------------> |
Windsor UK triathlon- 750 m swim, 40 km bike, 5 km run. Race was around Windsor castle, west of London, swim was in the Thames river. Very scenic. |
