This is my modern art masterpiece.  I've entitled it, "Things Permanently Epoxied to the Bottom of a Tin Can".  Later on, I did find out that brushes will clean up with acetone.  They could've printed that on the front page instead of buried in the middle of the text.

More sanding and a thick bead of epoxy built up along the keel.  After it cured, I went back and filed the bead down smooth.

The first saturation coat of epoxy on the outer hull.

Fiberglass draped over the hull with another coat of epoxy brushed on.  The fiberglass cloth turns clear when wetted, the excess hanging over the edges was trimmed off.  Roll on another coat, wait 24 hours and then another.  Four coats total, plus an extra layer of tape on the keel for protection against rocks and scrapes.

Front (bow) view of the deck with twisted wires and glue holding planks together.  Deck was assembled same way as hull.

Hull complete.  But before I can coat it, I've still got more work to do on the inside.
