I am missing you as I always have and always will. I can't quite believe it's been 15 years now since you left us on that cold January morning.

You may have departed physically, but you left us the gift of your music - a gift that no one else will ever match, no matter how hard they try. I know that it helps so many others in times of trouble and need just as it does for me.

It's still so hard that you're gone, but I know you're at peace - something which you never had when you were here. I take comfort in the knowledge that you don't have to go through what I'm going through right now... that you were spared the physical damage that chronic stress and depression can do when they really dig their claws in.

Thank you for everything you've given me - your gift of your music, the courage to carry on and some Happy Memories.

You were always my favorite Lep and you always will be. There's been something missing from Def Leppard since January 8 1991. I hope you're jammin' up there in Heaven and loving every minute up there.

One of the things that attracted me to DL was the sound of their guitars. To me, they didn't sound like your average guitars played in a rock band. There was something special about them. They were melodic, harmonious, and played with a lot of feeling. That something special was Stephen Maynard Clark. Just watching him in action, you could see how much he loved to play. You could feel his energy and it would flow right into you. Thinking of you, Steve, on this day, January 8th, 2006. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. You will never be forgotten. You and your music will live on in our hearts...and our ears.

Even though I only discovered the talent of Steve 3 years ago, the music changed my life forever. Steve died 12 days before I was born, and I never could or ever would get the chance to meet him.

Right when I heard Steve play I thought, "that's what I want to do," and I have been playing the guitar ever since. Steve influenced me and so many others and we all miss him and love him so very much.
