When a painless man gets his dream as a stunt man, everything goes perfect until his best friend Tom rolls the video camera, flushing his life down the toilet.

Steve Cane, or as people call him, "The Walking Cripple", has a dream, and that's to be a professional stuntman. Since a little kid, his mom pumped him up on Demerol everytime he got into a minor accident, not sensing much pain. He continues to take them and entertain his friends. His girlfriend, Melissa, thinks he's out of his mind and breaks up with him. His devious best friend, Tom, wants to be a director. They both decide to make a little video tape showing all of Steve's outrageous stunts to send it in to their college to get in and out faster. Then the unthinkable happens. Passing college, Steve gets his first phone call from a director, also former stuntman, Joe, and asks Steve to star in his film. One year later, Steve is rolling in the dough and having the time of his life! A new girlfriend, house, and he's famous! Then trouble rolls in when Tom shows up with a screenplay with one stunt just for Steve. With one detail left out, the stunt goes awry, putting Steve "critically out-of-work", leaving him poor and homeless months later and Tom rich and famous. Crazed with anger, Steve decides there's only one solution for this problem...REVENGE!
