Nigeria bird trip report - Stephen Welch

Together with my wife, a Nigerian national, I recently visited Nigeria for the first time and was able to do some birding there. My full trip report is linked below, together with three images pages - a few video-grabs illustrating some of the species seen, a special page discussing Plain-backed and Long-legged Pipit ID (including some short movie clips) and a few illustrations of the birding sites visited. There's also a systematic list of the trip observations, a page on the garden/yard birds seen in my wife's family compound and a few notes on the ornithologist William Serle.

Please also see these fascinating pages on a great international Swallow project involving Nigeria. Lend your support here.
