1964 Mk 1 Humber Scepter.
The Scepter of 1963 was a sporting version ot the Hillman Super Minx, sharing the basic body shell but with re-designed front and tail treatments. The grille was lifted straight from the Sunbeam Rapier, flanked by side grilles and with hooded twin headlamps.
Engine is tuned 1592cc with twin carbs on the first few, giving 80bhp and 88 mph top speed. Close ratio four speed box has standard overdrive, and servo front discs are standard. Inside has high spec trim and round instruments in separate hooded binnacles.
MKII of 1965, gets 85bhp 1725cc engine, re-styled front, and optional auto box. Replaced in 1967 by Hillman Hunter varient.
