SCHS Honesty Statement

SCHS views academic honesty as a reflection of a student's personal integrity. Therefore, all students are required and expected to maintain the highest standards of academic honesty in the preparation of all work and examinations. The following are considered serious violations of the SCHS academic honesty policy:

Plagiarism: Taking passages from writings of others without giving
proper credit to the source.

Collusion: Working together with another person with an "illegal" or
"deceitful" purpose in the preparation of work which a teacher expects to be accomplished on an individual basis.

Cheating: Giving or receiving information during an examination.

Students found guilty of scholastic dishonesty are subject to disciplinary action outlined in the student handbook. In addition to the disciplinary action stated above, the assignment will be given a zero.  The student will not be given a chance to make up the points missed for this assignment.

THE ATTACHED REPRESENTS MY OWN INDIVIDUAL EFFORT. I HAVE NOT COPIED OR PLAGIA7RIZED SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK.  I HAVE NEITHER GIVEN NOR RECEIVED AID FROM ANYONE . I AM AWARE THAT THE PENALTIES FOR ACADEMIC DISHONESTY WILL INCLUDE DISCIPLINARY ACTION (OUTLINED IN THE STUDENT HANDBOOK) AND A 0 FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT. I HAVE READ,  UNDERSTAND,  AND AGREE TO THE ABOVE PROCEDURES/CONDITIONS.
