Okay, some different kind of news here. First off, the show scheduled for Saturday 7-19-03 at the Tahana in Mansfield is being postponed, sorry for any confusion. Also, we have a tentative show lined up for tonight. It's the Battle of the bands at the Mansfield Holiday Inn. We might not be playing, but if not go to support all the other bands!

Hey, Duxy here. I literally just got home from the studio. It was probably the greatest experience we've ever had and I think we got the best results this time. I just uploaded a brand new MP3 to our MP3.COM site so it should be up within the next few days. I want to thank Randy Hunicke for all his time and hard work, and also Sarah, his wife, for letting him stay late and work with us! We're currently getting the CD's together and preparing to send them out to get manufactured, so our new EP should be available in the near future!

Hey guys. A lot of news. First off, big show this Saturday June 14th at the Tahana in Mansfield! Come on out to see Thanks for Nothing, Twist of Fate (last show with drummer), steelshed, and Lucid Sky. Today's show at UMass Dartmouth has been postponed due to the weather. Jamnesty will be held next thursday (5-8-03). Sorry for the lack of updates. If you came to the show on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus in Attleboro, you probably noticed that we've gained a new member of the band. JR is gonna be playing with us as a second guitarist! We took a few weeks off and wrote some new parts and material with him and we hope you guys continue to enjoy our progressing sound. Jay's contact info should be up this week.

On a side note, the band would like to apologize for how things came about tonight at the Drop Zone in Cumberland, RI. We were told that we could play by our roadie at the show. He called us and said there was an open spot on the bill. When we arrived we discovered that there was no time for us and that he was trying to convince bands to play shorter sets just so we could play. Thus, we apologize and are very embaressed that we came across to people with a form of arrogance. Had we known what was going on we never would have showed up with our equiptment. Thank you also to the people that came and supported us and sorry for the confusion. Show added for April 19th (next Saturday) at the Attleboro Knights of Columbus! The doors open around 6pm. The bands are Kicked in the Head, A New Beginning, Stay the Night, Downside Promise, and us. It will definitly be a sweet show! In other news, we took these past couple weeks off to work on some new material and work with some new changes.

Don't forget that this Friday (3-28) is the Drive CD Release show! It kicks off at 6pm at the Knights of Columbus in Attleboro, Ma! Make sure you get there early and get your copy of their new EP "The Truth About Liers". Also, look for some new Steelshed T-Shirts at the merch table!

Site update: Three new songs have been added to the lyrics section: "All my friend", "Hes not shes" and "Period". The band should be hitting the studio to get these songs to all of you soon!

The Benefit show that is schedualed for Saturday WILL NOT be held due to last minute problems with the Attleboro Police Department. We are very sorry that Sarah's show has been canceled for this weekend, but on a better note, it has been reschedualed for April. The new details will be up on the shows page soon but if you can hold your horses email [ Shawn ] cause he set up the show. Once again, we are sorry that the show has been postponed, but be sure to come to the new date because it is for a great girl and a great cause.

Steelshed WILL be performing tonight at the DropZone in Cumberland, RI! Sorry for not giving you a definite answer, but the schedules were all messed up and we're gonna play it! Okay, just so everyone is aware and I dont have to keep answering this question, Steelshed will not be playing this Wed. at the Drop Zone. They do wish you would go and support the other bands such as The Muffin Heads, Strutter, and Twist of Fate...Also Steelshed is in the midst of setting up shows this summer with some other local bands down the East Coast. Things are still up in the air as of now, but ill let you know as things happen via mail or whatnot.

Also The Drive just sent me the flyer for the 28th show, so make sure you come down to see us and pick up one of there CDs. You can see the flyer here. I got to hear a preview of the new EP today and it kicks ass!!! So buy it!...Hopefully our new shirts will be on sale by then to, so buy one of them while your at it!

Tonights show at the Drop Zone in Cumberland was a great time! Thanks to everyone that came out and supported us! Also, are you in a band and you want to record some demos? Why waste your money on poor-quality recordings when you can have amazing studio quality for a great price! New Castle Sound is a great place to record! After going there numerous times, steelshed is not only satisfied with their recordings, but they have made a great friend out of it! Randy Hunicke is a musical god. Well we have a new show up, some new pics up, and we just bought a banner for the band. We'll be displaying it in Andover on Sat, so everyone try to make it. The shirts are in the designing process right now, and should be set to order within the upcoming weeks. Also Stickers and Pins are being designed, and should be ordered by next week.
