So you want to know about the shadows? I'd say you've come to the right place, but that sounds far too cliche`. Seattle is bustling with night life of all species, and somewhere along the line you are guaranteed to run into the shadow on business. The careful ones you will never see, nor hear more than a whisper. Good Runners cover their tracks, and learn to blend in. Their life style is not exactly what a "good" citizen would call legal. They handle any type of work you can think of, mostly corporation run. Things the corps can't handle for themselves, too messy, and bad publicity. They carry out little contracts put out to steal, rob, and or munipulate the environment around them for one some well-paying party's benefit. Hell, you have to make the nuyen somehow. Some are in it for the glory, others are just sadistic. Many really have no other means to survive.
Which Shadow will it be? There's a team listed that has been quite popular lately, beneath the eyes of the Seattle skyline. Still You'll never know who's casting the shadow until you're too close to run, and with a few of those listed I promise you won't get the chance to run. I'm just the tour guide, however. What the frag do I know? *smile*
If you care to just wander down the city streets, then by all means. I'll stick close by, and let you know what you've gotten yourself into. The area is big and some of it not so pleasant. Word to the wise, you get yourself in a bind, there is only so much I can do. You frag yourself, I become a ghost. Scan me? *laughs* Good! We'll get along fine!
