I turn the corner, and there you are, you look so near, but I know you're so far, I procede with my walking, and pretend you're not there, I pretend not to notice you, but all you do is stare, Stare in my direction, "can this really be, She's looking over here, Is she looking at me?", Thoughts race through my head, of when we were together, remembering everything wrong I said, I want you now more than ever, Palms gettings clammy, as I picture you in my mind, I'm hoping that maybe, It all could work out this time, We're coming closer together, you're all alone in my view, everything else is a blur, all light's attached to you, Heart racing, adrenaline pumping, sweat beading on my brow, Our gaze is locked to each other, I can see inside you now, You wish we were together, That you miss me so, You hate us being apart, All these feelings you can't show?, The world's become still, everything's frozen in time, I try to say something sincere, but all that comes out is "Hi", My words are disreguarded, my speech has no reply, our eyes quickly lose contact, you continue to walk by, You walk into the arms, of the tall guy that's behind, my dreams are shattered in an instance, The truth I still can't find, "One day she'll understand, how much she means to me", I say as I continue walking, on my way to period three.
