The Confederacy, a hostile alien alliance that decimated Federation forces in the Fasa Sector in 2378, have had a long association with the UFP. The Ssorans, since 2371 though it was not till later that they showed open hostility. The Falcarians, in 2376. Both races were enemies of one another but their mutual hatred for the Federation formed their symbosis.
Smaller powers Atzae, Parthos, Iries and the Chuec are also apart of this group.
However it is the Falcarians and the Ssorans that make up the power of the Confederacy and they have proceeded to continue the eradication of humanity and its allies, even beyond this sole sector.
