ESSAY of THE MONTH:

May I pose to you a question, dear Reader?  Why?  Why do you the things that you do?  Why do you accomplish them with such ferver?  It is a question I've been battling with for much time now.  This is my philosophy...I feel that we largely waste our lives in meaningless living.  What is it that we work so hard to accumulate anyway?  To put it a different way, "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."  This society, our society, is a lustful organism.  We strive together, we stive amongst ourselves all for what!?  For NOTHING!  This is partially my reason for my drastic change in major.  The key to life is not more, and better, and higher, and faster.  This "superlative" culture would do itself well to understand that what is really important are the things we already have yet take for granted...I will be adding more shortly...
