I am a small hobby breeder of black and black & white parti color Cocker Spaniels. Cockers are relatively new to me (we've had Dixie three 1/2 years) but I raised and bred Beagles for 8 years when my family lived in Colorado. I decided I might try breeding Cocker Spaniels after we'd had Dixie for about a year and a half and we found we loved her so much and she was such a wonderful, loving and devoted dog. The entire family really enjoys this breed so we soon acquired Buck and later, Diva.
The big excitement at our house right now is that our litter of Cocker puppies were born Febuary 25, 2003... Dixie had her first ever litter of 6 puppies last year on St. Patrick's Day...March 17, 2002. Our second litter was born on May 5th,(8 in this litter!)to Diva...SURPRISE! That's right, and now Dixie has had the first litter of 2003!
