Specific Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled:

Provide ventilation, isolate area.  Large Spills requires the use of self contained breathing apparatus.  The spill should be absorbed (vermiculite, sawdust, Fuller’s earth).  Pour liquid decontaminate (90% water, 8% ammonium hydroxide, 2% detergent) on spillage, allow to react for at least 10 minutes.  Collect in open container or polyethylene sheet, and further decontaminate liquid.  Remove container to safe place with loose cover.

Specific Waste Disposal Method:

Dispose of material in landfill according to Federal, State and local regulations.
