SITE DESCRIPTION-  The University of St Andrews in St Andrews, Scotland has many alums in the Greater Boston area. This website is a test run to see if there are more St Andreans in the area who would like to meet up with "our people". This is not an official website of the University, and I would strongly suggest that anyone interested in learning more about the University of St Andrews should consult the official website at www.st-and.ac.uk.

On Monday the 22nd of July, Sheila Bautista '99 organized the first annual meeting of the St Andrews Alumni Club of New England at Kitty O'Sheas in Boston! What a success! Familiar faces had the chance to become reaquainted! If you missed out on this great event, send an email to Elaine Cartwright, Alumni Relations. Her email is alumnus@st-and.ac.uk. SAVE THE SECOND TUESDAY of the Month for future meetings.

In the summer  of 2003, I walked into my local to drink coffee and cheat on the crossword to be shocked beyond belief! Pete and Dayle were there! Two dear friends from St Andrews were drinking pints and having a pub lunch. When I asked if they had ever been to The Sevens, they said no... just thought a pint was in order! What a surprise... not. My local may not be the Central, the West Port, MaBells or Lafferty's any longer, but there are options here in Boston!  Look for events from Abby Schmidt in 2005.
