Election myths are more frequent than truth.

We have all heard the democratic party ranting and raving about counting all of the votes.  Of course, when we did this, we were supposed to forget that Governor Bush had won once, no twice, no three times, no, wait a second four times in some counties.  How many times did Bush have to win before they admitted that they were beat?  It took a brave Supreme Court to step in and end it all.  In a 7-2 ruling the court determined  that the handcounts were unconstitutional.  ALL of the handcounts were unconstitutional.  This means all of the votes that Gore gained in Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade and Volusia were invalid.  Now they could have set forth standards and made all of the counties recount their ballots, but the problem was that there was no possible way to accomplish a task that huge in 6 days.  For evidence just look at how long it took Palm Beach county to count.  Of course now we hear the slights against the US Supreme Court, but the 5-4 ruling was only involving the remedy not the actual recounts, which they felt violated voters equal protection.  It shouldn't surprise any of us that the democrats would go to such lengths to overturn an election, what surprises me is that voters supported it.  Had it been the other way around and Bush was trying to count votes in Republican counties, I would be saying the same thing because I would still have the same view.  I would want Bush to win, but not by fishing for votes.   But this isn't the only thing that alarms me.  The democrats have long engaged in election fraud (there are probably a few Republicans as well, although not to the extent of the democrats.)
Al Gore worked closely with the INS and was able to get them to push through thousands of immigrants without following the proper procedures for background checks.  Of course, they had to fit into the profile for people most likely to vote "democratic".   In California, people who have applied for citizenship with the INS but have not yet received it, were sent voter registration cards from the democratic party without ever having registered to vote.  In Wisconsin, ballots were laying out on tables and people were seen leaving the polls with ballots and then bringing them back in.  They also had college students bragging that they had voted multiple times for Gore.  Also, homeless people who do NOT have addresses and most likely are not registered to vote were given cigarettes if they voted for Gore.  In St. Louis, Missouri, the polls were kept open for 1 1/2 hours past when they were supposed to close and democrats were busing voters in until a judge closed the polls down.  In Florida, Palm Beach showed over 400 felons had voted in the election, most of whom were registerd democrats.  Black voters were up 65% since the last election.(Highly unlikely).  In the second machine recount, Bush lost 1400+ votes.  Where did they go?  Is this all of it?  I am sure that it is not, but we must start paying attention and remember that if we let them get away with this, we may never be able to win another election.  It is not time to be complacent, it is a time to fight back.  We must stop election fraud if we want the President of the people's choosing.  This year, we were blessed by God, that we did get the President we voted for.  Now it is up to us to make our elections fairer.
Busting through the Racism Charges
Republicans can not get through an election cycle without being accused of racism by their opponents.  Why do they consider us racists?  Because most of us do not support preferences and quotas.  The reason that we don't support this is because we view things differently.  If we set up quotas that said businesses and schools had to accept so many "White" people, the minority groups would throw a fit.  Since they want equal treatment, they should want it all the way around.  This is what is so frustrating.  The black leaders can come out and criticize the President of the United States or other "White" leaders, but if white people criticize Jesse Jackson, they are racist.  Black people who are in the Republican party are ridiculed and said to not be "black".   I am tired of being charged with racism.  If any party is racist, it would have to be the democratic party.  They support planned parenthood and abortions, when they know that planned parenthood's founder targeted minorities for extermination using abortion.  They complain about inner city schools, but refuse to do anything about it because they owe the teacher's unions for their support..  There are documented stories of democrats paying black people to vote.  Because the poor communities need money, they go for it.  The problem is that if democrats need you to be poor in order to be able to "buy" votes, they will never try to change the inner city schools and thus they are condemning those communites to poverty and despair.  Jesse Jackson is the worst representative for the black community.  He drives up in his limousine and cries racism over every single thing that involves a black person.  He loves the media attention.  The problem is that he is diluting the seriousness of real racism.  He is like a woman who cries rape when she never was raped, after awhile people stop listening and then the real rape victims suffer for it.  This is what Jesse Jackson does for the black community.    The Republican party has some outstanding leaders: Alan Keyes, JC Watts, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice and Clarence Thomas.  These leaders truly care about the black community.  They understand that the lack of quality education and safe neighborhoods continue the cycle of poverty.  Black people have to look past the politcal rhetoric and ask themselves, what have the democrats really done for our community.  Are we living better lives?  Are our neighborhoods safer?  Are our children getting a good education?  The answer to those questions is no.  The democrats have perpetuated on the black community, a new kind of slavery.  A slavery to the government.  Slavery was excused in it's earlier days, because "slaves" supposedly could not take care of themselves.  Now the democrats are saying the same thing.  They say we need quotas because black people cannot get into good colleges on their own.  They say Black people were discriminated against in Forida because the ballots were confusing.  This intimates that black people are somehow "less capable" of filling out a ballot than a white person.   Republicans say that the problem is that the education system is failing African-Americans, and that their neighborhoods are unsafe, and that there are too many African-Americans who are single parents and struggle to make ends meet.  We want to help, but if African-Americans learn that they can be successful without reliance on welfare and other government programs, the democratic party will be ruined, and so they insinuate that there is racism, where there is none.  They are afraid that if black people really take a look at the Republican party, they will flee in rapid numbers, but if they think Republicans are racist, rich white people, they will continue to be slaves to the democratic party.
THE SOCIAL SECURITY MYTH
The democrats have used Social Security as an issue against the Republican Party, and unfortunately they have been successful.  Republicans do not want to hurt the elderly.  The problem with Social Security is that the money that is paid into the program is quickly spent in Washington D.C.   The government isn't paying these benefits, the American people are.  The government doesn't have ANY money.  All of the money that is promised for social programs comes from taxes.  If people are having a hard time paying for medication or other things, it would seem to me that it would be better to give them a tax break rather than start a new social program that will require higher taxes.  The Republican party believes in personal responsibility and local chariites.  Rather than tax Americans to pay for social programs in another state, we believe that we should eliminate governmental social programs and allow local people to support local charities which take care of local problems.  It isn't that we want people to starve or freeze, it is that we have learned that any money that goes to Washington is spent and doesn't necessarily go to the programs that it was intended to go to.  Many of the Congress members will dip into the Social Security funds to support issues that will win them support of certain lobbyists or groups.  Some of our money is sent overseas to help other nations with social problems.  Do you know how your taxes are spent?  Did you see the news story about the US Post Office spending over a million dollars on a study to prove that the term "going postal"  is a misnomer?  Do you consider this to be a prudent way of spending Americans hard earned tax dollars?   I am quite certain that Americans could have found a better way to spend their money.  They could have used it in their communities to help Habitat For Humanity, or buy poor children christmas presents.  This is the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats.  We believe that local people would support their local communities and local charity organizations in a better and more efficient method than the federal government.  Imagine a local charity that would insure that the local elderly and poor were supplied with food, energy assistance and free medical.  We, as Americans have become complacent, relying on the federal government to take care of our communities.  Before these social programs were formed, local people would take care of local people.  My great grandparents had their house catch fire.  Local people donated supplies, a place to stay and everything that my great grandparents needed in order to get their lives back together.  This all happened during World War II when everything was rationed and people didn't have a lot of extras.  This is what Republicans believe in.  This is what Republicans want for America.  They don't want us to become so reliant on the federal government that we forget our neighbors.  In major disasters, we see Americans the way the Republicans invision them.   So next time you hear someone say that Republicans want to starve the poor, or take medical care away from the sick, or take the elderlys money, remember that that isn't what we want, what we want is for Americans to care about Americans and to forget about race, sex , age and other things that set us apart.  We want the fact to bring our nation together,  not by our differences, but by our similarities in wanting what is best for our own communities.
