Scanning Tips:  To achieve optimum quality, I scan at 300 dpi and save the file. I then reduce the image size in my graphics program to approx. 900x700 pixels and then use the 'unsharp' mask to  sharpen it back up.  This gets rid of all moires and other undesirable patterns.

If you are scanning from a magazine page with text on the back, place a black sheet of paper or cardboard on top of the text side so it doesn't "light" thru.    If you experience lines, patches or any other flaws through your scan, try scanning again until they disappear. The scanner may not be warmed up enough.
Thanks in advance for any
contribution!
