Serious Sim Racing League Rules

Okay everyone, running cautions pretty much puts anyone to
sleep. Here's what we'll do:

We get 2 free cautions. When the 3rd caution flies we goto
"follow the leader" for 3 laps. I think this would be a good
idea to help instill some patience.

Follow the leader means you don't pass another car unless they
are in trouble or wave you by. Other than that don't try to make
any great passes until the 4th lap after the green flies.

Part of trying to make the race clean and green will rely on
people not following too closely during "Follow the Leader"
(FTL) laps. Try to stick with 0.3 to 0.4 for the FTL laps.

If there are 10 or less laps remaining in the race, there will
be no FTL laps.

For those people experiencing problems when people chat, you can
turn your in-car chat off but anyone can chat. SNN didnt help
without chatting :-(

Thank you and happy racing to everyone,

There will be 15 - 25 racers and the races will take place on Monday nights at 8:30est unless a lot of people can't make it then we will let everyone know when it will be changed to. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU LET US KNOW THROUGH AN EMAIL IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO A RACE. We will email everybody and let them know if there is a change in the time of the race. We will also hold practices for that weeks race from 6:30pm - 7:30pm est. time during the week before the race. These practices are not mandatory, but try to make it to at least some of them. We will be following the NASCAR 2001 race calendar. The first race will be Daytona then North Carolina and so on. The races will be at 40% - 50% of the real race and there will be no pace lap, fixed setup, forced smoke, al drivers, force cock-pit view, or double file restarts. Yellow flags will be on. We will meet in the New York Lobby 8 before each practice and race session.

WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY NAME CALLING! IT IS RACING AND IT HAPPENS.
