The common misconception is that anime is action cartoons from Japan but that's not what real anime is. What Anime stands for is basicly adult animation it was all the rage in 1992 but it went down the toilet. I know this cuz when I was about 6 or so I saw a HBO commercial for anime and it wasn't what it is today.well those clever little Japanese people got an idea and they started to draw action manga in the same style that the real anime was draw in.Then the manga became a real hit and slowly but surely it was turned into TV shows and then they shipped it over here it was all go good until the sent the most evil and stupid thing posible over in to our fine country this menece is known as... POKEMON so now theres some Real Anime tapes floating around Toonami "anime" and of course the Pokemon junk.
