Character Profile
Cell is one of Dr. Gero's creations. He was made of cells from many different great warriors such as Goku and Piccolo. In other words, he is a "clone", well sort of, of un-imaginable power. Okay here's the story of his creation. Dr. Gero knew that the androids were not indestructible so he programed his computer to gather Cells from the amazing fighters on Earth. This process took 20 years and when Cell was finally born he was instructed to absorb androids # 17 and #18 but Trunks already destroyed them in this alternate, alternate (yes 2 alternates) future. Cell needed 17 and 18 to become complete so he killed Trunks but he couldn't fit in the time machine so he went back to his larvae form and went in the time machine to go find 17 and 18 in the past. When he made it to the timeline we know he grew for 4 years and then started absorbing people. He battles the Z team for a while but eventually absorbs the androids (Vegeta helped him absorb 18). Perfect Cell fights with Vegeta and Trunks after they trained in the room of spirit and time. Cell is amazed how much stronger Trunks had become in such a short amount of time and asks if he could get stronger. Cell decides to hold a tournament in 10 days similar to the Tenkaichi Budoukai. He invited anyone who thought they could defeat him to attend the tournament. He called this tournament the cell game. Cell is destroyed by Gohan who is the first one to reach Super Saiyan level 2. Cell has three humanoid stages. The first is an insect type creature looking one similar to the last. The second, after he absorbs #17, looks like the first but much more muscular, kind of like the Hulk. The last has a more human face, is purple and green. He eventually spits out #18 when Gohan hits him really hard |
