::1 Corinthians 10:13::

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man. But God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what your are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."

Have you ever been tempted? Knowing that temptation is not a sin (Jesus Himself was tempted in the wilderness) but that it always comes first before the act of sin, we often fear temptation, pleading with God to keep us from it. But, keeping this verse in mind, perhaps we should view temptation (and troubles) as blessings, drawing us closer to the God who loves us if we remember to turn to Him when confronted with them. Ask God to show you the way of escape with each temptation that you are confronted with, and to give you the strenght to overcome, drawing you away from sin and closer to Him and His glory!
