Greetings and Well Met.
Welcome to the newest webtome of the Imperial Defenders. At first, allow me to introduce the IPD, as they are called in short. We are a guild of good alignment, that was created more than a decade ago on the old RPGamers Forum of CompuServe. Through many trials we passed and more than once it seemed our time had passed and we would fall into the darkness of Oblivion.
But, as you see, we returned, this time at a new place, as the old ones were demolished. Our guild is rebuilding, but our oath remains the same:
"I do hereby swear on my Life, and on my Honor, that I will defend all My Fellow guild members to my death. I will never allow any ally in distress to go unaided. I will uphold the respect, honor, and dignity of the Imperial Defenders for now and for all time. I will never permit any injustice to go unnoticed."
The current leader of the IPD is Sir Blackwolf Moondew, an elven Knight and Wizard, who had led the guild for more than three years, before retiring. Now, after more than five years he brought the guild out of its hibernation. His years of rule have seen high points and also some lower states. But thus far nobody within the guild has questioned his skill in leading the Imperial Defenders.
