The Empress

What a Wedding!

Greetings!

I've been on rowboats, catamarans, hydrofoils, ferries, and cruise ships.  But in my life, I've never been on a yacht.  And Kristen's and Sean's wedding yacht was not just any yacht, but a LUXURY yacht, still spanking new that it's not even listed on the yacht company's website!

Their fabulous wedding cruise lived up to every glowing word on that website, and more. This PR blurb was no hype:

"What could be more romantic than the expansive backdrop of the Pacific Ocean waters and a beautiful canopy of stars overhead to celebrate the most important day of your life?"

I'm still glowing over the experience.  Call it an afterglow.

Elegant, romantic and magical, Kristen's and Sean's wedding on a luxury yacht was an unforgettable way to celebrate their love, wedding, and marriage.

With the sheltered waters of Newport Bay sparkling and shimmering, the sun sank in the west as they exchanged their vows.

Kristen and Sean sailed into new waters -- into their future together -- aboard the Empress, a private, beautifully appointed and magnificently maintained yacht, thanks to parents, Patricia and Gregory, who spared no expense in fulfilling a fairy tale wedding fantasy and pampering the bridal couple's family and friends.

The Empress provided an exceptional sunset dinner cruise on Newport Bay with sweeping panoramic windows for its guests to comfortably enjoy the spectacular, everchanging vistas of the unabashed opulence of the Newport Beach coastline.

For four glorious hours, we were treated to the lifestyles of  "The Rich and Famous."

Each experience that we partake of becomes a part of us, forever altering who we are, how we regard one another, and how we treat each other.

The memory of this enchanting nautical evening of celebration spent on Newport Bay with Kristen, Sean, their families and friends, may be what lifts me after a particularly challenging day at the office, or sadness, or adversity.

Or may put me into a romantic mood with DH.  Or it may just be nice to daydream of that smooth sail on a peaceful bay with California sunshine smiling on us with gentle sea breezes caressing our faces......

As you can see, this uncommon experience touched the heart of this common woman.
